Sonja van den Bosch, Twinlife Marketing’s energetic founder, is a marketing consultant with more than 16 years of corporate marketing and sales management experience in Europe, Asia, North America, NZ and Australia across a variety of industries.

In Europe, Sonja worked as Life Fitness’ marketing director. In her four years in the role, she helped to grow the company’s turnover by 116% and its market share from 17% to 32%. In Australia, Sonja was at the forefront of the online marketing revolution in the travel industry, having the global marketing responsibility for 4 high quality travel brands that relied heavily on a strong online presence.

Since launching Twinlife Marketing in February 2009 Sonja has helped many businesses achieve strong results from their marketing. She has built a reputation for delivering truthful and practical outsourced marketing management services and truly enjoys transferring marketing knowledge and skills.

Sonja is a sought after marketing speaker and educator, who is renowned for her winner’s mentality and inspirational approach and loves nothing more than building teams and getting the best out of people. Sonja constantly focuses on making sure that the Twinlife Marketing consulting team is in top performance, making it the most respected and reliable marketing partner for businesses.

Sonja holds a degree in Business Economics as well as a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Economics (specialising in Marketing and Management) from Maastricht University, the Netherlands and is fluent in Dutch, English, and German and proficient in French and Spanish.

When Sonja is not sharing her marketing passion with the world, she loves to travel, spend quality time with her husband and twin boys, indulge in early morning yoga & meditation and share a nice meal with friends.

Joanne Akkari

Joanne Akkari has solid strategic and hands-on experience in corporate and small business marketing for over 14 years. A veteran of internet marketing, Joanne was part of the original online team who grew the Qantas website from its infancy to become Australia’s number one online travel brand and the company’s most important sales and marketing channel. She was the driver behind the redesign of qantas.com in 2002 as well as responsible for developing and implementing Qantas’ online marketing strategy until 2007.

Joanne later founded and managed a successful online business and began consulting to other businesses in developing and implementing their marketing plans. She has broad experience in strategy, planning and implementation across all areas of marketing.

Since joining Twinlife Marketing in 2012, Joanne has set up an effective marketing structure and driven marketing implementation for organisations across various industries including financial services, construction, travel, property and IT.

Joanne has a flair for design and is driven by realistic, results-driven marketing initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Business degree with a major in Marketing from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Sasha is a dynamic and strategic marketer with over 12 years experience positioning multi-nationals and SMEs at the forefront of the publishing, entertainment, travel and leisure sectors – globally and in Australia.

An intuitive communicator, Sasha is able to engage with business owners, senior management, commercial partners and external agencies, and lead teams to achieve ambitious growth plans in challenging, competitive markets. Sasha’s ability to form productive long-term working relationships both internal and external is one of her keys to success. She genuinely enjoys collaborating with others and brings real passion and drive to her work.

Sasha has recently returned from the UK where she was part of a start-up team for Sydney and Saigon-based Asia travel specialist Travel Indochina to successfully launch the brand in the UK market. Since then she has held key marketing roles spanning well-known publisher Mills & Boon and adventure travel company Exodus, where she delivered integrated multi-channel campaigns, negotiated high profile partnerships and honed her skills in strategic marketing, project management, brand building and customer experience.

Sasha has a strong understanding of all elements in the marketing mix and promotes practical, insight-driven marketing. She is also interested in possibilities beyond the obvious and enjoys finding unique ways of delivering creative marketing solutions.

Highly organized, proactive, and with a keen eye for detail, Sasha brings extensive experience in the management, design and production of marketing material and can be hands-on when necessary to write compelling copy or design a piece of collateral.

A highly analytical, strategic and motivated communications professional, Amanda has more than 14 years of experience across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

Amanda has always had a keen interest in strategic marketing, and a firm focus on brand building through both traditional and digital channels. Partnering with clients from a range of sectors, Amanda has developed and implemented successful strategies for brands across industries including health, legal, IT, art, aviation, transport, retail and education.

Working with SMEs, multi-nationals and not-for-profits, Amanda has been recognised as a driving force on every project she has worked to deliver.

Joining multi-national recruiter, Randstad, in 2009, she played an integral role in the communication and marketing of its acquisition and integration of more than 25 brands across the Asia Pacific.

An adventurer at heart, Amanda has also spent time overseas, most notably leading communication strategies for a key London transport provider during the 2012 Olympic Games — a role she identifies as one of the most rewarding and unique experiences of her career.

As well as focusing on strategy, Amanda has an in depth knowledge of implementation. She has managed complex and intricate web and digital projects; produced copy for a range of purposes, including speeches for c-suite clients and politicians; and delivered engaging and creative brand solutions. Amy is a highly experienced marketing professional with over 18 years experience in B2B and consumer marketing. A strategic and creative marketer, Amy’s strength lies in her ability to understand the ‘bigger picture’ including the key factors for business success and specifically, how marketing plays an integral part of that success.

She believes effective marketing is practical and measurable and can be implemented without large marketing budgets.

Amy has worked for several large multinational corporations such as Vodafone Hutchison, Colliers International and Nikon and has helped them improve brand awareness, implement their digital marketing activities, run campaigns and drive quality marketing leads.

Amanda Anker

Amanda’s impressive career started in the B2B sector promoting personal protective equipment in the industrial sector through a network of distributors. She was also instrumental in writing the Australian Standards related to those products. With initial responsibility for Australia and Asia Pacific, her next exciting career move, within the same company, took her to the hustle and bustle of Paris, where she headed the marketing for Europe for four years.

A love of Australia saw Amanda return to Sydney where she moved into the tourism, hospitality and business events area as Director of Marketing and Sales for the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre until its closure in 2013. In this challenging role, she worked closely with government agencies and industry to help successfully reposition Australia’s international brand as the ideal destination for conferences.

Amanda is a passionate marketer and strategic thinker with extensive experience in raising brand awareness, repositioning brands, strategic planning and stakeholder engagement for large, medium and small organisations.

She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has a Bachelor of Science from Sydney University, Master of Business (Marketing) from University of Technology Sydney and a certificate in Occupational Hygiene.

As part of the founding team for a successful Australian IT start-up company which expanded internationally, Dina has learnt first-hand the importance of making every marketing investment dollar count.

In her role with Twinlife Marketing Dina enjoys working with and mentoring a number of professional services clients to establish their marketing and brand strategies supported by marketing systems and communications which drive awareness, engagement and loyalty.

Liesel Lurie is an administrator and organiser extraordinaire. With a career spanning over 20 years across various industries, most notably insurance and financial services, health care, human resources and women’s fashion retail, in Australia, the United Kingdom and South Africa, she has vast experience in all aspects of administration.

After leaving the corporate world to focus on spending more time with her 2 boys, Liesel has worked part time providing assistance to business owners of StartUps and SMEs.

Comfortable working from an office or remotely, she is efficient at managing her time ensuring deadlines are met and producing work that is of an extremely high standard due to her high level of detail.

Always ready to assist with any task and going the extra mile, Liesel brings a keen sense of wanting to help wherever possible.

Outside of Twinlife work, Liesel enjoys spending time with her husband and energetic boys, going to the beach, reading and watching documentaries on Netflix. She is currently learning to crochet.
