Sonja van den Bosch, Twinlife Marketing’s energetic founder, is a marketing consultant with more than 16 years of corporate marketing and sales management experience in Europe, Asia, North America, NZ and Australia across a variety of industries.

In Europe, Sonja worked as Life Fitness’ marketing director. In her four years in the role, she helped to grow the company’s turnover by 116% and its market share from 17% to 32%. In Australia, Sonja was at the forefront of the online marketing revolution in the travel industry, having the global marketing responsibility for 4 high quality travel brands that relied heavily on a strong online presence.

Since launching Twinlife Marketing in February 2009 Sonja has helped many businesses achieve strong results from their marketing. She has built a reputation for delivering truthful and practical outsourced marketing management services and truly enjoys transferring marketing knowledge and skills.

Sonja is a sought after marketing speaker and educator, who is renowned for her winner’s mentality and inspirational approach and loves nothing more than building teams and getting the best out of people. Sonja constantly focuses on making sure that the Twinlife Marketing consulting team is in top performance, making it the most respected and reliable marketing partner for businesses.

Sonja holds a degree in Business Economics as well as a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Economics (specialising in Marketing and Management) from Maastricht University, the Netherlands and is fluent in Dutch, English, and German and proficient in French and Spanish.

When Sonja is not sharing her marketing passion with the world, she loves to travel, spend quality time with her husband and twin boys, indulge in early morning yoga & meditation and share a nice meal with friends.

Joanne Akkari has solid strategic and hands-on experience in corporate and small business marketing for over 14 years. A veteran of internet marketing, Joanne was part of the original online team who grew the Qantas website from its infancy to become Australia’s number one online travel brand and the company’s most important sales and marketing channel. She was the driver behind the redesign of qantas.com in 2002 as well as responsible for developing and implementing Qantas’ online marketing strategy until 2007.

Joanne later founded and managed a successful online business and began consulting to other businesses in developing and implementing their marketing plans. She has broad experience in strategy, planning and implementation across all areas of marketing.

Since joining Twinlife Marketing in 2012, Joanne has set up an effective marketing structure and driven marketing implementation for organisations across various industries including financial services, construction, travel, property and IT.

Joanne has a flair for design and is driven by realistic, results-driven marketing initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Business degree with a major in Marketing from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Outside of work, Joanne loves getting outdoors, reading, learning something new and spending time with her family and friends.

Sasha is a dynamic and strategic marketer with over 12 years experience positioning multi-nationals and SMEs at the forefront of the publishing, entertainment, travel and leisure sectors – globally and in Australia.

An intuitive communicator, Sasha is able to engage with business owners, senior management, commercial partners and external agencies, and lead teams to achieve ambitious growth plans in challenging, competitive markets. Sasha’s ability to form productive long-term working relationships both internal and external is one of her keys to success. She genuinely enjoys collaborating with others and brings real passion and drive to her work.

Sasha has recently returned from the UK where she was part of a start-up team for Sydney and Saigon-based Asia travel specialist Travel Indochina to successfully launch the brand in the UK market. Since then she has held key marketing roles spanning well-known publisher Mills & Boon and adventure travel company Exodus, where she delivered integrated multi-channel campaigns, negotiated high profile partnerships and honed her skills in strategic marketing, project management, brand building and customer experience.

Sasha has a strong understanding of all elements in the marketing mix and promotes practical, insight-driven marketing. She is also interested in possibilities beyond the obvious and enjoys finding unique ways of delivering creative marketing solutions.

Highly organized, proactive, and with a keen eye for detail, Sasha brings extensive experience in the management, design and production of marketing material and can be hands-on when necessary to write compelling copy or design a piece of collateral.

When she’s not putting her energy into new marketing ideas, Sasha will most often be found somewhere in the great outdoors, or introducing her kids to new experiences through travel. Sasha thrives on café culture and people-watching, and chills out with yoga or a good book.

Kimi is a seasoned marketing professional and social entrepreneur with over 15 years’ experience developing and driving strategy, delivering measurable results, building brands and increasing revenue. She thrives in situations that present challenges requiring creative, innovative solutions and strategic skills.

With an open and honest approach and a ‘can do’ attitude, Kimi believes that communication, collaboration and common goals are key. Kimi develops practical strategies to suit all types of budgets, resources and company structures. She has been a mentor to many and loves the transfer of knowledge and expertise and watching others grow and develop.

Kimi is both analytical and creative. Having worked in the tourism, financial services and media industries, she has diverse experience across all areas of marketing and has a proven record of delivering measurable outcomes and a positive return on investment.

With a genuine passion for helping others, Kimi has launched travel and shopping websites that make giving easier, whereby users can donate to community projects worldwide at no extra cost.

Lee-Ann is a passionate collaborative marketing professional who has vision, commitment and the strategic ability to help your business achieve its objectives. With a positive approach, she always sets out to have a thorough understanding of the customer to find the insights to build effective marketing activities that are impactful and efficient. She has 20 years senior experience in high profile FMCG, media, entertainment and technology companies. Her broad marketing experience includes heading up the marketing and creative department for the TV media division of The Walt Disney Company. With The Coca-Cola Company she launched new health and well-being drink products, held large account management roles, and project managed the Sydney Olympic 2000 Games sponsor rights. Whilst at the travel technology company Expedia, she implemented successful brand, PR and digital acquisition campaigns.

Lee-Ann can quickly adapt into different environments, motivate those around her and comprehensively review the challenges to provide effective creative solutions. She is a true team player who has a genuine passion for mentoring others, building positive working relationships and celebrating successes together.

Lee-Ann loves spending time with her family, exploring other countries, experiencing different cultures, trying unique foods and going to live stage musicals. A storyteller and communication expert who has developed a rich commercial legacy of brands, logos, packaging, TVC’s, NPD, websites, social media and communication that have stood the test of time.

Her unique market research background and consumer insight expertise presents a highly skilled problem solver and new opportunity developer.

Across ANZ, she has worked with many blue chip FMCG companies in health, frozen, cleaning, seafood, fruit & vege, beverages, pharmaceuticals and supplements, personal care, skincare, and liquor. Including Unilever, Goodman Fielder, Kimberley Clark, Freedom Foods, Integria Healthcare, Sealord, GSK, Reckitt’s, Penfolds and Hort Innovation.

In consumer electronics and white goods, Megan worked with Breville and LG. In transport and tourism at the Sydney Airport Rail Link and consulted on projects with the Star casino, Sydney Convention Centre, Westpac and the Commonwealth banks, and the Club and RSL sector.

More recently she has worked in the startup sector on a variety of projects including kid’s entertainment, digital video story telling cloud app’s and organic skin care.

As a consultant, Megan has extensive planning workshop experience and has worked with many SME’s to build their marketing teams capacity, processes and develop partners.

In her spare time Megan loves getting physical outdoors, at the beach, at tennis or with her teen daughter exploring.

Alison is a seasoned strategic marketing professional, with 18 years’ experience working in both corporate and SME environments, both in Australia and the United Kingdom.  She thrives on problem solving, and identifying specific insights unique to a business and brand that can be translated into meaningful campaigns that make a true lasting impact.

Alison spent the first half of her career in blue chip consumer health care businesses such as Johnson and Johnson and Pfizer.  In that time, she worked across many consumer categories, developing brand identities and driving brand strategies.  She has a proven track record in all aspects of creative development, media planning, qualitative and quantitative research, online and digital campaigns, consumer and professional communications, new product development and global branding.   Alison successfully built and ran her own online wedding marketing business for many years.

Alison is collaborative, team player who enjoys working with others to achieve an outcome.  More recently at Integria Healthcare, Alison acted in a global account management capacity to support small businesses to achieve their sales and marketing objectives.  She enjoys teaming up in a workshop environment to identify opportunities and develop campaigns to meet those opportunities and drive business results.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales, majoring in Marketing and Management.

Alison loves to get outdoors with her two active boys, be it camping, rock hopping or exploring.  She enjoys Barre class and yoga, or catching up with friends.   She also likes to spend time volunteering at her children’s school through many events and as Treasurer of the school P&C Association.
